What is a reparation order?
A court may order an offender to make some form of payment to a victim of crime.
- You must let the CDPP prosecutor know well before sentencing if you want them to ask the court to make a reparation order on your behalf.
- You should give the prosecutor any documentation regarding your reparation order request, for example medical bills or receipts for counselling that are related to the crime.
